>>>It's not sticking. Obama's poll numbers are already bouncing back from the dip they took over his former minister's remarks.
>>>
>>>That thing about the flag pin is the ultimate political BS. Are you saying he doesn't love his country if he doesn't wear a flag pin? (And did you know the guy who first expressed "outrage" about this was not wearing a flag pin himself? It's on YouTube somewhere). Also, what is this about not saluting the flag? Are you saying Obama won't? That's a new one to me and I have been listening to crap from the Clinton camp for weeks now. Heck, the Repubs don't even have to go after him, the Clintons will do it for them. I'd like to tie the two of them to a raft and push it out to sea.

>>>There, I feel better <g>.

>>It'll stick when the two parties go head to head. As for the lapel pin, taken by itself, it's nothing. When you start looking at the reason he doesn't want to wear the pin, won't salute the flag, etc. it all comes clear when contrasted with his preacher's diatribes.
>>The repubs don't have to go after Obama. You know the old saying about not bothering your enemy while he is destroying himself.
>>
>>There's a youtube video of Obama standing off to the side with his hands down while Hillary and the Breck boy were facing the flag, hands on they hearts....

>You know, John, I think you are onto something here. I am looking at your UT picture and don't see your hand over your heart. I don't see any flag pin, either. Ergo, you must not love your country. Right?

As soon as I announce my run for president, I'll post it there. Of course, anytime I hear the national anthem, you are free to take my picture, because unless someone shoots me (and I may be laying there with blood oozing out of my ears) I'll have my hand over my heart, and i'll be looking at the flag, and most likely thinking about how proud I have ALWAYS been of this country. I'll probably also be thinking about how lucky I feel to live here.<vbg>

Sorry, but I know that I know that freedom isn't free, and I love every square inch of our country, even New York and California!
