Lets not forget that the articles are not only profoundly obsolete, they're about a language that the complainant has claimed since at least 2002 is profoundly obsolete, making it difficult to argue that there is any possible value or revenue involved.
Even so, IMHO YKW should be given a mechanism to get what he says he wants. I'm very happy to eradicate the articles myself if provided with the source and an undertaking from the author that eradication of each article is in fact what he wants (because I consider it an own-goal and wouldn't want to contribute to further angst.)
After that we can all go back to focusing on good news. I'm particularly looking forward to the first UT mag. does anybody know what it will cost, or am I showing laziness by asking? ;-)
"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
-- Shakespeare: Coriolanus, Act 1, scene 1
