It might be a permissions issue or a framework version conflict.

Hmmm. All my other pages run fine like this. This is the only one I have had a problem with and I suspect that it has something to do with the user control and the custom control, but I have no idea what :(

Go into IIS and see if the page is logged OK and then check the .Net tab in properties in IIS to see if the right version of the .Net framework is being used for that page.

But the page doesn't even load. Is there still going to be info on this? Also, I do not see a .NET tab in IIS. If it were a snake would it bite me?

Also, try subsituting the loopback IP 1.0.0.127 in place of localhost. I dunno why (no one ever mistook me for a Windows engineer) but sometimes that overcomes some permissions issues in some versions of W2K3 or W2K Server.
