Thank you Mark, it worked fine.

The behaviour with Eudora is different from Outlook however.

Outlook:
- signon(): connects, send/read mail(I don't really want that), disconnect
- send(): put message in outbox (so I need to signon() again)

Eudora:
- signon(): nothing
- send(): connects, send/read mail, stay connected
- signoff(): nothing

It stays connected, so on the next signon(): error message: unable to obtain valid network address (or similar to that).

Do you have sample code that sends a file via Eudora? That would probably help a great deal.

Is it possible to send a mail without seeing the mail app and not have any manual input from the user? (if you know the address that the message has to be sent to)

Thank you very much for your help.

Mario

>I'm not sure about Outlook or Netscape mail, but to get the MSMAPI32 control to work with Eudora you have to enable MAPI within Eudora. Within Eudora pull down the Tools menu pad, select options and go to 'MAPI'. Enable the 'Use Eudora MAPI server - Always'.
