Hi Bhav,

Now that you guys spelled it out, I got some clarification to make

It is NOT Replacement for Report Designer but actually reporting engine
based on GdiPlusX. It is complementary to standard FRX reporting.

Idea is to be able to use more then just ReportDesigner/FRX paradigm
when reporting and that is now entirely possible.

So with Sculptor together with FRX based reports, you can use various other
content sources to compose complex multipart reports;
such are freehand scripts, chunks of excel files, plain text files, various form controls, activeX etc.

RD/FRX will be probably still prevailing way to design reports even by
those who will use Sculptor but it can be accompanied with meny other things.
There is also fully visual OOP report class (container) on the way
and meny other usefull gadgets.

It natively exports to PDF via Dorin Vasilescu HaruPdf wrapper library;
multipage TIF (GdiPusX), and also universal XFRX/XFF format which can be further translated to meny other formats for those whou use XFRX.

Most of it is explained on website which is still under construction, and there is more other stuff still under construction ;)


It will be free for all, and also sort of open project
not open source but in fact open :)

Unfortunatelly I cannot release download just yet;
I am hoping to do it in a matter of few weeks.

When you get some time give it a go :)
