Hi Paul ----

I haven't used the specific ActiveX control you are referring to but not all ActiveX controls are visual. With some of them, just use the CREATEOBJECT command to create an object (from a PRG or other method) instance and refer to the properties in code wherever you like.

One of the things I'd like to be able to do is take these reports and publish them to a web page. Since Crystal Reports supports HTML, this should be easy. But to run the reports I need to have the CR ActiveX control available. For most reports which have user interaction, that's OK. I'd like to do these reports automatically w/o a visual component to them. Is there any way to use a ActiveX control w/o putting it on a form? Or are they, by definition, visual?
