I doubt Limewire has gone legit. Without having done any research about it, I don't know whether the cases you mention were for uploading or downloading. It's hard to believe they would go after small time downloaders. There is now good AV running on both machines the girls use (not counting the Mac) and they are both Ghosted, so if Limewire gets to be a PITA I can roll back.
