The UNC game was only on here for a half. When they pulled away just before halftime our coverage cut away to Xavier vs. West Virginia for the rest of that game. (What a great game! -- back and forth). Louisville is going to give the Tar Heels a test, I suspect. The first half of their game against Tennessee was ragged on both sides but the Ville got it going and eventually beat a very good team -- #1 in the country just a month ago -- by 19. It will be interesting to see how Carolina handles their inside game.

Someone on the selection committee must like the Tar Heels ;-) Not that they shouldn't be the #1 overall seed, because they earned that, but playing their first four games practically in the shadow of campus is quite a bonus. #2 seed Memphis, meanwhile, is looking at the strong possibility of playing Texas in Houston on Sunday.

Four more games tonight. It will be a surprise if Memphis and Kansas don't cruise. The other two should be pretty entertaining.
