I don't use jpg for displaying barcodes. The barc-types I use a 2of5il, code128 and ean128 and I coded the routines for them a long long time ago and we still use them in crystal reports too ;-)
perhaps you did insert some special code within the report that references a field on basis of its old name. This could also produce that kind of message.
This often happens with code in 'Print when'.
