Actually you can use almost any program from your USB stick, including Registry entries, COM, Activex etc.

Search on google for THINSTALL. This actually works. It is a system for virtualisation of applications.

To make sure that Thinstall gets everything, I use a Virtual Machine to do the install under Thinstall. That way I can be sure that I will catcj everything. After that it is up to how you set up the Thinstall to run off the USB.

I have a set of apps that run exjavascript:MessageSubmit()
[Save this message so it will appear for other members immediately] clusively off my usb, all Thinstalled.

The best part is that once the app is closed, nothing is left behind on the computer. All this is handled by Thinstall.
