Hi Jay,

IMHO, defines will offer you a much better handling, in case that more than one developer has to handle code in a bigger project. A 'constant' that you specify in your load or init-event can always be changed by someone who isn't so much involved in your kind of coding. A DEFINE will always be unchangeable during runtime so the newbie to your project won't be able to mess with your 'constant', which might lead to some rather unexpected errors.
