Not sure what you are referring to here.....

What led you to believe you would need Expression Blend? VS2008 has a more-than-adequate design surface for standard Windows apps - which is what you say you develop.

So does everyone here. At some point in the past they also knew how to code VB4, DbaseII, etc...

IMHO, both of those (expecially event handling) are far better in WPF. Why do you prefer the WinForms implementations?

I thought you were asking about possible benefits. If you've already decided that there aren't any then why post?
