The code in the button's click event never fires. There is something about the interaction with the messagebox that is killing the event. Once I comment the messagebox out (does the same thing with a wait window) then it fires the button event fine. I'm thinking of using a timer that I would enable in my valid/lostfocus event that would show the messagebox.
