Like you, I have the utmost respect for Rick. He is always way ahead of the curve compared to most of us, not to mention a terrific writer, so I read everything of his I see. That said, I read Viv's post and don't think it deserves to be dismissed out of hand because his name isn't Rick Strahl. The reason I responded as I did to Rick's post was that it made me believe WPF is not a good fit for me and my learning / study priorities. I do not have a business need, or any need at all, for WPF. It is just something I was interested in. The decision may be entirely different for someone who does need a powerful graphics solution.
