That is what I typically make mistakes on. I think in English, not Spanish, and my tenses are typically wrong. Do you say (in Spanish), 'I hope someone will correct me', or 'I hope someone corrects me?' (Granted we know that it's not typical to say 'I hope' but 'with hope') I still translate in my mind the English phrase, and say and write it that way. That is typically wrong. So, to answer your question, I don't know! :o) It has been 16 years since I was in a spanish speaking country - far too long! When I do hear and speak Spanish, it is often slang or basterdized spanish (not sure how to say that nicely and still get the meaning across).
