The conduct of our military, even under the most stressful and confusing of wartime situations, must be closely watched. When actions in contraindiction of the Geneva Conventions occur, they must be stopped and those at the highest levels punished. Only when the leadership answers for their troop actions do real changes occur. I agree with you that some of the conduct has been despicable recently. I disagree that it is due to this administration. This has been going on since the 60s. Our allies condoned it or looked the other way and even participated in many cases - hopefully that will come out eventually but I doubt it.
