You're welcome. And I'll agree that most Americans didn't know, or didn't want (or care) to know since the Indian was regarded as more 'sub-human' than the blacks at the time, but it certainly was known at the national government level.

>Thank you for bringing that up. I have a personal beef with my country for that. Sadly, at the time, most Americans did not know that was happening. Not the specifics. They just wanted the 'indian problem' dealt with. Lets face it. We were populated by many criminals over the years and many good people just seeking a better life. Some were just trying to stay alive after moving onto indian land (or crossing it) that the government opened up to them (even though we didn't own it). That seems to be a recurring event in many countries throughout history.

>>>I just found it humorous. I've got several friends who are German or Austrian. I hold no ill will toward you or your country. Our country hasn't always done the right thing either, but we have never shoved people into ovens, or gas-baths. I hope and pray we never allow our "leaders" to do something like that. That's one reason we have to right to keep and bare arms.

>>No, we just handed them smallpox in blankets, starved them, marched them across the country, let them die of diseases "because they weren't worth the medicine", robbed them of their heritage, customs and language, crammed then into festering pits that were called 'prisons', hung them, burned them...shall I continue?. You've really GOT to quit throwing glasses in your rock house.
