Cursor used in SQL seem to be external to listbox. I mean you might have set the rowsourcetype = alias and SQL selecting to that alias. If so instead directly set the rowsourcetype = SQL and rowsource something like "select mylookup from mytable into cursor crsLstBox" and only thisform.lstBox.requery when data needs to be updated.
