Tim,
>I would like to install mm3.5 so I can start to learn the new stuff in there. I have many apps however that are using 2.4 in VS2005 that I cannot break them. I also cannot convert them as I am using third party stuff that Kevin does not have integrated yet.

Is this just a matter of the references and what is installed in the toolbar? When I installed VS2008 the MM2.4 controls all showed up in the toolbar automatically. If I remove them from VS2008 will they still be there in VS2005?

MM .NET 2.4 and 3.5 can coexist peacefully on the same machine. Since 2.4 is for VS 2005 and 3.5 is for VS 2008 you can have controls show up in the Toolbox for both versions.
