Hi Kevin,

>Tim,

>>I have been trying for 4 straight days to get a method to insert a record into the VistaDB database with MM2.4. When I step through the code, (All of it past the saveEntity()) The rules are checked and the result is "RulesPassed", then the rows updated comes back with 1. All the values are populated and look fine when I inspect them. Problem is the data is not in the database. There are no exceptions and the data Adapter shows success. What else can I do to track this down? Any ideas? This is a web application and all other data access with the VistaDB seems to be working.

>Best Regards,

It works fine on other pages to save or insert data. It just doesn't seem to work in this page with the code I included. Well, actually it doesn't appear to be about the code I included because tracing it shows no exceptions and results.RulesPassed with 1 row updated.

I am curious about the row updated when it didnt' actually update. With VistaDb do we not get back a proof positive the insert occured?

And it is actually on my local machine while trying to fix this, but it is working on the web as well as local for the other forms that do inserts.
