I have read the rest of the thread and can't believe I missed those two. Carmelo Anthony's Syracuse team was only a few years ago. Oh well.
While we're on the subject, a tip of the hat to the Tennessee women's team for repeating. With their best player nursing a dislocated shoulder. So much for women players not being tough. (Oh wait .... which gender does childbirth?) There was an interesting picture in the paper this morning of Candace Parker, the bum shoulder-ee (and Chicago local), hugging a teammate at the end. She is a very attractive young woman but what I noticed even more than that was her hands. They are huge! She has bigger hands than me, and mine aren't small.
