Thanks for all your attempts on this. None of this has helped - I still get intermittent corruptions when modifying report files. It seems to happen when I copy a control or work with the variables dialog, but I don't have anything duplicatable. I've tried some other things, including reinstalling VFP. I'd like to replace the anti-virus or have the capability to temporarily disable it as I work with report files, but I don't think that is an option in our company.

Right now, I just have be sure to save my report files often as I make changes to them.
