"Anytime" is a word, as the Merriam-Webster citation shows, but as used in the email reply you received I think it should be "at any time," not "at anytime." Maybe I have fallen behind the times.

I take it you agree "historical" should have been "historic"?

>Actually, in my case, that was a typo. They all drive me nuts. Proactive wasn't a word until the mid 80s. I had to read that word numerous times in military writings before it showed up in any dictionary. Judgment became judgement, any time became anytime, and every time became everytime. (accepted, but not correct for those)

>Actually, it still depends on which dictionary you use :o)

>One day, the entire dictionary will comprise nothing except words that were spelled incorrectly over the years and will contain nothing in its original form :o)

>>Please pass these comments on to your close personal friends in the Clinton campaign ;-) ---

>>The election may prove to be historic but it is not historical, at least not yet.
>>
>>Also, it's "any time," not "anytime."

>>>I sent a question and is the response I received (her tv commercial stated that questions would be answered on additional commercials or in a townhall):
>>>
>>>I wanted to personally thank you for the question you submitted online. This is what I love the most about this campaign -- talking with people, listening to their questions, and sharing our hopes and dreams for America's future.
>>>
>>>Over the next few weeks, I'm taking my case directly to the voters of North Carolina. I'm going to listen to people's questions and tell them how much we can achieve if we work together to restore our economy, end the war in Iraq, stop the skyrocketing price of gas and reclaim the promise of the American dream. And I'm going to ask them to join you and me on the journey we've begun -- a journey that will continue until we achieve critical goals like universal health care for all Americans.
>>>
>>>You will be hearing from us shortly about the questions you asked and the issues you raised. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask at anytime.
>>>
>>>Thank you so much for participating in this historical election.
>>>
>>>Sincerely,
>>>
