>I don't know if I read somewhere or experienced a problem with calling SEEK() without "=". So, after I started calling it as =SEEK(), I call all methods and functions with "=". But my memory is bad so it could have been my experience before VFP.

VFP has a SEEK() function and SEEK command with diifferent syntax. With '=' you're calling function, w/o - command.
There have been reports a while back about errors generated sometimes when calling some COM object methods w/o '=, though.'
