I tried to put some code into the AllowNew of a business object. I would not let me... I tracked down the problem to the method being protected.

This business object in question is a subclass of cListObj class that I have on my MultiRecordPersonForm.

I need to put code in the allownew to return a false if no employee record has been selected in the screen.

Is there another way to do this, or can AllowNew be made public?
