I just installed SS2005 yesterday on my laptop which belongs to a domain. I was connected to the domain at the time.
Now I am at home, away from the domain. NAd I cannot connect to the server local / OTT-LT0769 (the name of my laptop) anymore.
I get this error:

I google this but cannot make any sese out of any responses.
I just think it has to do with the security.

the loginscreen has this info:
Server type: Database engine
Server name: OTT-LT0769
Authentication: Windows Authentication
grayed out: User name: CortielP
grayed out: Password: 'blank'
grayed out: Remember password

if I switch to sql serve authentication, what is the defaul user and password?
