Three suggestions to try:
1. The 'greyed-out' User name and password you see are SQLServer login credentials(which you must have used at some point?) Try just switching to SQL Server Authentication and using those existing values.
2. The problem may be to do with identifying the machine rather than with the windows login. You could try using the IP address instead for the server name.
3. Leave it till Monday - go to the pub instead <g>
