the opening skit on Sat Nite Live last nite was pretty funny. They had Petraus giving his talk in front of Congress and McCain and Clinton asking him questions.

For McCain, no matter what answer Petraus gave, McCain saw that as another example of progress. Even if the statement was that a softball league turned into a deathmatch league. That meant that the Iraqis were getting better at organizing teams.

For Clinton, she kept on claiming how she was against the war from the beginning. I haven't watched enough of her. But on the skit she would stare at the camera for 15 secs and not say anything.

Then they had Osama ask some questions. He was introduced as the next president. And McCain, Clinton just sat there with sad looks on their faces. All Obama's questions to Petraus were about his book. Petraus was kissing up to his next boss. Saying how great his book was. And when asked about McCain's and Clinton's book, he went on how poorly written they were.

>>There is speculation here that something is seriously wrong with Bill Clinton. Not just the things that have been wrong with him all along... Really. He has been stumping in NC lately (today as well) and his speeches and comments afterwards are nothing if not bizarre...

>>>This story just gets better and better. Have you heard the latest? Just when the furor over Hillary Clinton's false statements about coming under sniper fire in Bosnia while First Lady had started to die down, Bill Clinton has breathed new life into it. On Thursday he brought the incident up at a campaign appearance in Indiana, suggesting she "misspoke" only because she was 60, forgetful, and tired. (Not quite in harmony with his wife's ad campaign about who is most capable of taking that call at 3 a.m.). He then segued into a diatribe claiming the media has been biased against Hillary.
