This is where developer new to the frame work start, it's the 1st impression they have of the framework. If the developers in our shop can't even get the jumpstart to work. I have to wonder if my management still considers this a viable product.
First let me say that I have done the jump starts at least three times with success every time here. I do this with C# however, but I just compared this portion to find them exactly the same. It is normal for the aAppTest object to go away with a build and in fact is the easiest way to get rid of it when you are done testing. I am wondering (but don't know) if there is a setting in your options that forces a build when you try to instantiate an object manually. This is just a thought. Sometimes when you try something multiple times you keep trying the very thing that doesn't work and it is hard to see what you are miss reading. You are right clicking on the Orders business object in the class designer right?
Anyway, I understand your frustration, wish I had an absolute answer.
