What I am interested in is this:
You create a new report using a wizard. Then you have to choose a data source. You can't choose a DataSet since it doesn't exist yet. How do you manage this?

When you are in the design stage, do you see a dataset somewhere?

Doesn't the report have to have some fields and data to work with when you are designing it.

How do you design a report on a dataset that doesn't exist yet?

Most of my reports didn't come from a wizard, but you still have to set up a datasource, and I don't see any way to design a report on a dataset.
