I considered using RLOCK(), but thought there had to be a 'better way'. Hence, the reason for the question.

Unfortunately, I am not using the commercial classes as Nick suggested. I am using classes from a training class I had in Philadelphia, PA. And, it seems these clases were developed with RAD in mind.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will give them a try. And, then start to become familar with the commercial classes or others that 'handle' this situation differently than the ones I am using.
