There is little political danger in bashing athiests. No news there.
Rep. Davis is not very well known. If it had been a U.S. congresscritter ((c) Doug Dodge) or a governor it probably would have received more coverage from the beginning.
Good to see you posting, BTW. I have been manning the language barricades during your hiatus and will be glad to give that duty back to you ;-)
