2. Is the grid tied to a table or a cursor.
3. Do you set the properties in code, or do you use the property sheet?

By the way, in the upper right corner of this area, above the flag, there's a menu Message view setup. If you select Enable auto quote, the message you reply to will also be included in your message. This makes it much easier to see what is written earlier.
