Why ?

Tito in Ex Yugoslavia gave us the more less simillar preaching;

... We should work like peace is gonna last forever! ... and we should get ourselves prepared, as if war is gona break tumorow morning! ...

Working class should work like slaves (pay taxes) so we could have strong military and security forces. To protect us from... hmm who ? Oh yes - Foreign Invasion ! (Or who ever disagree with what Tito said!)

So it kind of washed both ways; As parranoyia/suspence generator and home status-quo keeper.

You guessed right, I totally disagre.
I just cannot see how spending trillions on warfares and army budgets can be better then investing it in science, education, clean industries, alternative/renewable energy sources etc.

Why don't you start preparing for peace instead ?
