I was in the middle of a swarm of tornadoes in Arkansas in the spring of 1980. It was pretty spooky.

Then again, I was at ground zero for Hurricane Andrew in south Florida in 1992 and that was a lot scarier. I've told the story many times, probably here on the UT as well, so I don't want to bore anyone...but when your house is systematically destroyed while you are in it and you have no place to go and there are hours still to wait for calm then it's doggone scary.
