I take that to mean that you don't have an HDTV then (to watch HD movies) or care to... :o)
>>It just dawned on me that even if you didn't purchase the foriegn film channels, you can also watch any movie for 24 hours (just like a movie rental) on Channel 500 - do you have a cable box? It's under international movies on demand. The movies rotate every month.

>Like I said, we're back to $9/month of TV. We had the digital box for a few months in 2004 until I finally cleared out a path to the wall box and got it plugged in. Then I realized we were paying some $5 or so for the rental of the box, plus about $10 for a chance to see the same channels once more as digital, plus advertisements for other channels we could pay for. So we were paying extra for a chance to see what could we pay extra for? G'bye. I returned the box the next day - and my praise goes to Cox Communications (despite this lousy offer) for having actual shops with real people where you can actually walk in and do this in ten minutes - in my experience, trying to do this with Verizon (or Adelphia, if it still exists) would take about a week with ear glued to the muzak on the phone for a couple of hours.
