The funding to Columbia doesn't surprise me.


>Bad memory on my part. I read Imperial Grunts a while back and thought SOUTHCOM was in Colombia. I just reviewed it, and Kaplan doesn't say the command is there but he spends a lot of the SOUTHCOM chapter discussing Colombia. According to the book Colombia is the 3rd biggest recipient of US aid after Israel and Egypt.
