I think there is a "boy who cried wolf" aspect to it. Especially since the race for the (Democratic) nomination got down to two candidates, and with the candidates fairly close on the issues, we have had a seemingly endless series of attempts to gin up outrage over trifling matters. A lot of it is being tuned out. At this point they could probably call each others hos and lawn jockeys and it would slip right past us ;-)

>No, I don't think it's just you :o( The media seems to get more involved and the public too. However, this time, the public doesn't seem to be as concerned with the issues and the candidates' policies.

>>Is it just me or does this election cycle, more than previous, seem like a bad reality tv show. Every week the viewers think they've know what's going to happen, then one of the participants changes up the game, or the reporters (like producers) change things for them. Politics may be a bloodsport, but the audience participation reminds me of Big Brother : America's Choice.
