To add to this, I scanned the document with another scanner, created the PDF and then tried to append the report to it and it didn't give me an error but it overwrote the first page of the existing document with the fox report that it was supposed to append, so now it's still a one page document but the old data missing.

I will add if I create the original PDF with XFRX it does append it to the end of PDF.
