How cynical. Call me a starry-eyed idealist but I think the UN does matter, at least some. It's only irrelevant to those who think the U.S. can and should just do whatever it damn well pleases, and let's not have any backtalk. To me that's the antiquated notion.
Since you brought it up a couple of weeks ago, I keep seeing glowing mentions of "Battlestar Galactica". Maybe I will try to repress my aversion to sci-fi long enough to give it a look, if I ever get through the current backlog.
