>>>>The intent never was/never is to spread democracy.

>>>You believe that because acknowledging anything else would force you into a position where real intellect would be necessary.
>>
>>hhhmmmm, implying you have real intellect huh??
>What do you think?

I think you think you have real intellect.

>>I've gone through the stages of acknologing any explanation of invading iraq, but this seems far more likely.

>"This" is what you believed at the beginning, and coincidently right now.

No, not at all. I stumped accross the article just a few weeks ago. And BTW, the article was created in 2006... way after the start of the War.

>I agreed with everything you said, but I agreed with it in 2003.

Hmmm, I did not get that impression... you were challenging me that I was wrong.

>Since then, life has gone on.
>Now I'm contemplating the reality of 2008. And you're dwelling on the past.

No, I'm looking to the future but keeping the lessons of the past in mind.

>>The fact of the matter is that US is not looking for spreading democracy as it would force them in a much more difficult situation. It is far more easier to deal with puppet states and dictators that can be manipulated much easier than a state with a democracy.

>The Taliban was supposed to be a puppet.
>Then they helped Bin Laden.

That is what you get when you make deals with those kind of people.

>Your "facts" are proven factually incorrect.

Tell me...

>The Open Society is the only workable solution.

I would not even disagree, but do you know what this means for the american empire? It would lose its leading position in the world and it economy will fall back a few decades. You might think that from a idealogical pov, but reality is different. The US will not let it empire fall without fighting for it.

>>Only when they are faced with a state that is not cooperating, it is faced with a threat like: 'You'll do as we tell you, or else we'll bring you democracy':)
>
>Exactly.
>Which is a good thing.

Tell that the iraqi citizens today... Do you know what the situation in iraq is compared to before the war ?? Democracy is good when it is installed in a certain way of evolution, not when it is enforced. Democracy in Iraq ?? Don't make me laugh. The US does not want a democracy in iraq. They want to have something they can sell as a democracy, but in fact works as a puppet state. Something they can reasonably control.

>The only reason you don't like it, is because you hate Bush, always have, always will, and are probably deep down jealous of the possibility of him being successful in revolutionizing the status quo worldwide.

Ouch... Bush is irrelevant. He's a puppet as I always have believed. And jealous of Bush ?? If you'd say Clinton, that would be a different matter.
