And in 20 years the very people you need to support you in your dotage will be suing you for compensation.

Next we will deport any illegals we find, including their families. If they want to come into this country - legally - they will have to go through the process. We would also repeal any law that gave illegals citizenship, just because their parents managed to break into our country. It would be akin to the "fruit of the poisonous tree" doctrine.

I assume you do still believe in the force of law, including those you may not agree with. If you don't like a law and want to work to change it, fine, but we can't simply disregard those laws. Not unless we want to embrace anarchy and a return to frontier justice.

>>OK, let's say for the sake of argument this isn't ipso facto an objectionable idea. Logistically, how do you think this would be accomplished? My sense is it couldn't even if we as a society decided we wanted to. Maybe you have a clearer idea of how 12 million people could be deported. What would be the steps involved?

>Drive them to the border. Adios.

That was easy!

It was actually a serious question. If you really want to deport 12 million people, and are interested in doing more than venting your spleen, you need a plan. I am interested in hearing plans of how it would be done. Maybe I'm wrong and this is do-able.
