Don't think I can be much help.

I would check into my registry to see if it was corrupt. I have run into that trying to register OCX objs before. It's not fun.

See If you can do it on another machine. Look up RegClean Microsoft makes it and it cleans up the registry pretty good, but It won't fix it.

If that is not the problem try building a new project a "test" proj to see if it is in the Project.
