I have been having problems with CR inside VS 2005 using .xml files. I want to be able to design a report from a dataset, but can't figure it out.

If you read my past messages on this subject you will see that this is how this whole subject got started.

You can certainly point CR inside the development environment to an .xml file, and you can get the data into the report sometimes, and sometimes not. I don't know what the problem is, it's so inconsistent. Sometimes a new connection works, sometimes not.

If you find a consistent method, let us know.
