If you are only sending faxes, I think FaxMan Jr. is all you needed, and if I remember correctly is was under $100. We bought a used older PC for a few hundred bucks, and had a server set up for about $500. I do think that the full edition had some features not available in the JR. edition, but we got by fine without them. After some tweaking the product seemed to work really well.
