Hi Mike,

I'm also running Vista, Business edition, so that should be fine. Without knowing the exact details of the dialog you got I suspect the reason for it is that the app needs to register the IPWorks HTTP OCX control once. So just right click the desktop icon and choose "Run as Administrator" from the popup menu. Answer Yes to the confirmation and the program should just load noramlly. Thereafter you can just double click the desktop icon like normal.

Please try that and let us know.

>This sounds very intriguing to me so I downloaded and installed it (Vista Ultimate). It installed fine, or at least went most of the way. When I double clicked the desktop icon to run it the first time it said it needed to do a one-time process, then wouldn't do it because it said I had to be logged on as an administrator -- which I was. Any ideas?

>>Hi All,
>>
>>For all you news addicts here is a little app I put together for fun. News Maps visually reflect news aggregated from numerous sources including Google News, Reuters, Wall Street Journal, NY Times, Washington Post, BBC and many more news outlets from around the world. The information is displayed in
>>a Treemap which are space-constrained visualizations of information.
>>
>>The most popular stories occupy the largest rectangles while less popular stories fall into progressively smaller rectangles. You can see all the headlines and read any story just by clicking the headline.
>>
>>You can view several News Maps at the same time, each showing news from as many as 15 different news categories. The maps automatically refresh every 15 minutes and then show the movement of stories in respect of their growing or declining popularity.
