>I don't know how you're cropping, but the file size is much larger than it should be. A bitmap image 53 x 44 x 3 bytes (24 bit) per pixel is 6,996 bytes, or just under 7K. A .jpg file will probably be smaller than that.

Hmmm, maybe that's it. I don't see anything in the UT's picture upload section about the file size limit. 26K per member doesn't seem like a lot of data, but who knows? I will try fiddling with the editing software some more to see if I can get the file size down. Am using the trial version of Photoshop GS2 and know next to nothing about it.

Re cropping, I just drew a rectangle around the part I wanted to keep and clicked Crop.
