>John's method will work perfectly if your recordsource for the grid is a parameterized view or other cursor where you want the sum of ALL the records. If you're using a filtered grid (the parent/child settings in the grid's data properties) then you will have to add a FOR or WHILE clause. If you do this, an index on the filtering/linking field will speed up the calculations, as it will bring Rushmore into the calculation.
