Thanks for the replies. I looked at the Russian web site but, since I don't speak/read Russian, it wasn't much help. I think the only good solution would be to build some sort of VFP "scheduler" that I launch only once and then let it control the running of my various PRGs. You don't know of a good VFP "scheduler" program that would work for this, do you? I don't need anything fancy, i.e. appointments, reminders, etc. - just a "program that launches tasks based on day of week and time of day, etc."
