Soldiers of just about any country are generally not treated nearly as well as they should be. I did not support the VietNam war, but I most assuredly felt for the soldiers who came home and were treated like pariahs by their own government. Canadian soldiers are not treated so well either. Anybody (and I do mean anybody of any political stripe) who does anything at all to try to get them better treatment, gets my support. These people are putting everything they have on the line (whether I agree with why they are being sent to do it or not), and they should get preferential treatment in everything.
